Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari originally belongs to village Sandwani, Kot, Deh Bala situated in the Province of Ningarhar, Afghanistan and his forefathers migrated to Landi Kotal and then to Peshawar during British Rule and settled in Peshawar. He got his early education from Elizabeth High School and was graduated from Edwardes College Peshawar and Khyber Law College, University of Peshawar. He was enrolled as an Advocate of High Court on 30th June, 1994. He remained practicing lawyer till 1998 when he qualified the competitive examination for judicial service and was selected as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate. He remained serving as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate till 2003 and was promoted as Senior Civil Judge. Then in the year 2006, promoted as Additional District & Sessions Judge. He remained serving in the districts of Lakki Marwat, Charsadda (Tangi), Dir Lower (Chakdara), Chitral, Shangla, Peshawar, Abbotabad, Dir Upper, Bannu, Sawabi, Mansehra (Balakot), Charsadda, Karak, Noshehra and Buner, besides, Ex-cadre posts of Litigation Officer, Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Focal Person of Access to Justice Program in the Hon'ble Peshawar High Court, Peshawar, Deputy Provincial Program Manager of Access to Justice Program, Director Administration KP Judicial Academy.
